The Miami wellness advocate and Smile Creators co-founder on healthy aging, everyday balance, and why a healthy smile belongs in every conversation about longevity.
Oksana Ripa studied health sciences first, then Oriental medicine. The two fields rarely share a classroom, and that is rather the point. Western training taught her how the body works; Eastern training taught her to look for the whole person behind the symptoms. Together they shaped the way she has thought about health ever since, as something built through daily choices rather than fixed by a single treatment or trend.
As a wellness advocate, healthy-aging influencer, and co-founder of Smile Creators, a growing dental practice group in Miami, Ripa has built her work on the connection between physical health, emotional well-being, and the small decisions that shape how people look, feel, and age. Wellness, in her view, is about living better; the longer life is the bonus.

A Philosophy That Goes Beyond Beauty
Healthy aging has become one of the defining conversations of modern wellness, and Ripa believes its meaning runs far deeper than appearance. True longevity, as she sees it, shows in preserved vitality, supported natural function, mental clarity, and a high quality of life through every stage of adulthood.
Her approach rests on balance: nutrition, movement, restorative sleep, stress management, preventive healthcare, and emotional well-being, each in proportion, none of them a quick fix. She encourages informed, sustainable choices that support long-term health, drawing openly on both of her disciplines and on her conviction that body and mind are deeply connected and lasting well-being requires attention to both.
“True wellness begins when we understand that health is more than the absence of disease,” she says.
“It is the harmony between body, mind, and the way we live every day.”
That belief drives her passion for sharing wellness knowledge and inviting people to take a more proactive role in their own health and aging.
Building Smile Creators in Miami
Her commitment to well-being carries into her entrepreneurial life. Together with her husband, Dr. Anatoly Ripa, a dentist with more than 27 years of experience, she co-founded Smile Creators. What began as a shared vision for patient-focused dentistry has grown into a multi-location practice with offices in Bay Harbor Islands and Sunny Isles Beach, and a third location coming soon to Aventura.

The couple, who live in Bal Harbour with their six children, have built the brand around helping patients care for their smiles, improve their confidence, and support their quality of life. The expansion reflects their commitment to serving the community and making professional dental care more accessible across Miami’s coastal neighborhoods.
For Ripa, dentistry fits naturally into a broader understanding of wellness. Oral health influences everyday comfort, nutrition, confidence, and overall health, which makes a healthy smile part of feeling good and living well. As co-founder she helps shape a patient-centered practice where education, prevention, technology, and individualized care work together.
An Advocate for Informed Choices
Beyond the practice, Ripa is passionate about healthy aging and emerging approaches to maintaining vitality. She encourages people to stay curious, explore evidence-informed strategies, and make thoughtful decisions about their personal well-being. With so much information circulating about anti-aging treatments, supplements, and lifestyle trends, she wants wellness to feel empowering rather than overwhelming, grounded in education, consistency, and an honest understanding of one’s own needs.
Her message is a forgiving one. Age with intention, preserve vitality where you can, and make choices that support a healthier, more fulfilling life. Self-care, in her view, belongs to daily living, a commitment to oneself that grows in importance with every passing year.
The Importance of Balance and Harmony
At the heart of her philosophy is the conviction that health cannot be understood in isolation. Physical vitality, emotional resilience, daily habits, and a sense of personal balance all shape the way people experience their lives. She encourages looking past short-term results toward the bigger picture: how today’s choices may influence tomorrow’s energy, confidence, health, and independence.

There is no single formula that works for everyone, she says, and sustainable change usually begins with small, consistent steps. By helping people become more informed and engaged in their own health, she hopes to nurture a culture where prevention, self-awareness, and quality of life receive the attention they deserve.
Aging Well
Ripa represents a modern approach to wellness, one that brings together education, entrepreneurship, healthy living, and a deep appreciation for the link between health and quality of life. Through her work at Smile Creators alongside Dr. Ripa, her background in health sciences and Oriental medicine, and her advocacy for healthy aging, she keeps the whole person at the center of well-being.
As Smile Creators prepares to open in Aventura, her vision remains anchored in the principles that guide her life: balance, harmony, prevention, and the pursuit of lasting vitality. Aging well, she believes, is not about turning back the clock. It is about making the most of the time we have, with greater awareness, healthier habits, and a commitment to feeling our best at every stage of life. True longevity shows in the health, vitality, confidence, and joy we bring to our years.
